Welcome to the Pendleton Lions Club!

"We Serve"

The Pendleton Lions Club was chartered April 21, 1950.  Our Club Objectives are:

·         TO CREATE and foster a spirit of understanding among the peoples of the world.

·         TO PROMOTE the principles of good government and good citizenship.

·         TO TAKE an active interest in the civic, cultural, social, and moral welfare of the community.

·         TO UNITE the clubs in the bonds of friendship, good fellowship, and mutual understanding.

·         TO PROVIDE a forum for the open discussion of all matters of public interest; provided, however, that partisan politics and sectarian religion shall not be debated by club members.

·         TO ENCOURAGE service-minded people to serve their community without personal financial reward, and to encourage efficiency and promote high ethical standards in commerce, industry, professions, public works and private endeavors.

Pendleton Lions Projects

Our annual and ongoing projects include:

·         Eye glass exams

·         Eye glass purchase

·         Flags for 1st Graders

·         Mobile Screening Unit (MSU)

·         Lions International Peace Poster Contest.

·         Assistance with hearing problems

·         Used eye glass collection

·         Support Oregon Lions Sight and Hearing Foundation

·         Support Lions Eye Bank of Oregon

·         Participate in Lions Youth Exchange

·         BMCC scholarships

·         Eye tissue transportation

·         Highway cleanup

·         Salvation Army bell ringing

·         Lions Flag Park (by Chamber of Commerce)

·         Interesting and informative programs at Lions meetings

·         Support Lions Clubs International Foundation

·         Support BMCC Community Christmas Dinner

·         Support Meadowood Speech Camp

·         Assist community student groups and programs

Meeting Information

Club meetings are held every Thursday at the Pendleton Red Lion (click here for a map). 

The first Thursday of the month is the Board of Directors meeting at 6:30 am (all are welcome to attend).  The last Thursday is an evening meeting at 6:30 pm.  All other Thursdays are noon meetings.
